My Thai Adventure
As
winter steadily rolls in, my Thai adventure seems like just a hazy whisper. A summer
come and gone too soon. This past year my creativity was undeniably in a
drought. With adulthood looming on the horizon, it was definitely time to book
a flight…
So this summer I ventured to the tropical
retreat of Thailand. Drawn in by the promise of promiscuous parties, ludicrous
lady boys and captivating culture. Browsing ♯thailand was
enough to seal the deal, I was tempted by the sun, sea and spirituality and
that’s exactly what I got. I didn’t just
want buckets and beach bars; I wanted to experience a balanced view of the notoriously
outlandish nation. To see if the country still held its tradition against the
droves of westerners looking for a good time, ping-pong show anyone? I wanted
to see all Thailand had to offer.
Thailand offered an unforgettable
insight into the quirks of Asia from full moons to raccoons. I was flip-flopped
and fancy free with a new burst of inspiration. Thailand unlocked my long lost creativity,
passing the travel times away by writing and planning things to come. Did I
“find my self” travelling? Lets find out…
“Khob Khun Krab!”
